Bayda undersecretary Nasser al-Wahbi on Saturday inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of several departments at al-Thawra General Hospital, supported by UNOPS.

He was briefed on progress in renovating key areas, including emergency, labs, operating rooms, radiology, inpatient and external emergency wards, along with the construction of oxygen and fire control rooms and the supply of a new generator. The project is 40% complete.

Al-Wahbi praised UNOPS' support and stressed the project's role in improving healthcare services, urging adherence to technical specifications to meet growing patient needs.
