Ariha – SABA:
A group of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Auja Waterfall community north of Ariha on Tuesday evening, roaming among Palestinian homes under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
Hassan Mleihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that these raids and acts of harassment by Israeli settlers and occupation forces against Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley have become recurrent.
Mleihat added that such incursions are part of a broader policy aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinian residents and imposing new settlement realities in the area. He called on the international community and human rights organizations to immediately intervene to protect these Bedouin communities from ongoing violations.
It is worth noting that the Al-Auja Waterfall community is frequently targeted by Israeli authorities and settlers due to its strategic location in the heart of the Palestinian Jordan Valley.
