Four Palestinian journalists were killed and others were injured today, Thursday, in a new Israeli crime against them, following the targeting of the courtyard of the Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.
Medical sources at the Baptist Hospital reported that an Israeli drone targeted the hospital courtyard, resulting in the death of three journalists and the injury of a large number of citizens and journalists.
The martyrs were identified as Suleiman Hajjaj and Ismail Badah, journalists for the Palestine Today satellite channel. Islam Badr, a correspondent for Al-Arabiya TV, cameraman Ahmed Qaljah, and journalist Imad Dalloul were injured, sustaining varying degrees of injuries.
In this context, the director of the Baptist Hospital, Fadel Naim, confirmed that this was the eighth attack on the hospital since the beginning of the genocidal war.
Naim warned in press statements that the hospital is facing a heavy burden after many hospitals in the Gaza Strip were put out of service.
With the deaths of the three journalists, the number of journalists killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 2023 has risen to 224.
