Rabat-Saba:
The Moroccan Organization for Supporting the Nation's Causes has announced the fourth edition of the "Our Eid is Palestinian" initiative, under the slogan "We Will Not Forget Gaza and al-Aqsa."
This comes on the eve of Eid al-Adha, the fourth holiday in Gaza amidst the catastrophic conditions resulting from the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinians there since October 7, 2023.
The organization (a non-governmental organization) said in a statement on Thursday that this initiative comes "in solidarity with the Palestinians, especially in Gaza, and invoking the meanings and values of Islamic compassion and brotherhood."
It called on the Moroccan people to widely participate in the fourth edition of the "Our Eid is Palestinian" initiative, under the slogan "We Will Not Forget Gaza and al-Aqsa."
The initiative seeks to highlight all Palestinian symbols, including the wearing of keffiyehs, the raising of flags, and prayers for victory and empowerment for the people of Palestine, who are celebrating the holiday amid the ongoing aggression in Gaza, accompanied by systematic starvation and displacement attempts.
Through these initiatives, which also include demonstrations and solidarity events, human rights activists are trying to raise awareness among citizens about continuing their solidarity with the Palestinians.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli enemy, with American support, has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 180,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced.
