The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) has called for an end to the policy of waiting and betting on external promises, and a policy based on illusions, and instead, to adopt a realistic policy.
In a statement, the DFLP stressed the need to unify the Palestinian national position, officially, by factions, and by the people, around a program to confront the Israeli enemy by all available means.
This should be done on the ground through comprehensive popular resistance, and politically by declaring the extension of the sovereignty of the State of Palestine over all its lands, in accordance with the Declaration of Independence.
This should also include raising the issue to international forums, including the General Assembly, the Security Council, and the International Court of Justice, with a complaint on behalf of the State of Palestine, which has been attacked and its national sovereignty violated by the rogue occupying state.
This will strengthen the international legal legitimacy of the struggle of our people and their political forces, and attract the broadest international, official, and popular support.
The DFLP said: The Israeli enemy state would not have been able to declare the extension of its alleged sovereignty over the lands of the State of Palestine without the American green light. Trump expressed this when he described "Israel" as a small state and called for its expansion, in a declared position calling for the annexation of the West Bank.
The Democratic Front affirmed that the shameful position taken by Trump's representative to the Security Council, in defying the world and dropping the draft resolution approved by all Security Council members, also constitutes an American green light, granting "Israel" American support to continue its colonial settlement project in the West Bank, leading to annexation, and its criminal and destructive project in the Gaza Strip, leading to the displacement of the people of the Gaza Strip, emptying it of its population, and realizing Trump's settlement dream of establishing a "Riviera of the Middle East."
