Kyiv - Saba:
At least five people were killed and 23 others were injured in Russian drone attacks targeting the cities of Priluki and Kharkiv in northern and eastern Ukraine over the past few hours.
Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Ukrainian Chernihiv region administration, reported that the Priluki attack killed five people and injured six others who were taken to the hospital after six Russian drones struck residential areas in the city, causing extensive damage to infrastructure and residential buildings.
Meanwhile, Oleh Synyehubov, the Kharkiv regional governor, announced that 17 people were injured in a similar drone attack, including children and a woman.
These attacks came hours after a phone call between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in which Putin confirmed his intention to respond to the Ukrainian drone attacks that targeted Russian military airfields earlier this month.
