Jenin – Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continue to carry out raids and arrest campaigns in the villages and towns of Jenin Governorate in the occupied West Bank, as the brutal aggression enters its 137th consecutive day, coinciding with the first day of Eid al-Adha. This comes amid the bulldozing and destruction of Palestinian property, in addition to the ongoing siege, arrests, and attacks.
The Jenin Camp Media Committee stated, according to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, that since the beginning of the aggression on the city and camp of Jenin on January 21, the enemy forces have been launching raids and arrests, while deploying continuous military reinforcements, including bulldozers, to continue the home demolitions.
Dozens of families in Jenin have been prevented from reaching the cemetery to visit the graves of their relatives, in a further violation of the sanctity of religious occasions and the rights of Palestinian residents.
Israeli forces surrounded a house in Siris, south of the city, and arrested four brothers. The mother of the young men indicated that the Israeli forces surrounded the house and fired live bullets at her son, Ahmed Naim Qatit, wounding him in the waist and hand. They also wounded her other son, Qusay, in the foot, and arrested them, along with her two sons, Uday and Muhammad.
Israeli infantry forces also stormed the Nissan Hall in Jabriyat neighborhood, near Jenin refugee camp.
The Israeli aggression on Jenin refugee camp resulted in the complete demolition of 600 homes, while the rest were partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable. This was in addition to the widespread destruction throughout the city, causing significant damage to facilities, homes, and infrastructure.
The aggression resulted in the forced displacement of approximately 22,000 citizens. The Israeli forces forced them to leave their homes and are still preventing their return. Forty-two citizens were martyred, including two by Palestinian Authority security forces.
