Parliament Speaker, Yahiya Al-Ra'i, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, and the members of the Council, and through them to the heroes of the armed and security forces, and the Yemeni people, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The Speaker, on his own behalf, and on behalf of the Presidency and members of the House of Representatives, and the General Secretariat of the Council, expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings on this great religious occasion.
He pointed out that the holiday coincides with the ongoing victories achieved by the heroes of the armed and security forces in defense of the nation's sovereignty and dignity, in support of the Palestinian cause, and in confronting the conspiracies and economic and political obstacles imposed by the aggression coalition against the homeland. The Speaker of the House of Representatives called for strengthening national cohesion and rejecting division among the people of the same nation.
He reiterated the need to continue steadfastness and perseverance, with a spirit of shared responsibility, until freedom, independence, and full sovereignty over all Yemeni lands, islands, and waters are achieved.
The Speaker concluded his congratulations by praying to Allah Almighty to bring this occasion back to everyone with good health and well-being, to the nation with pride, victory, and empowerment, and to the Arab and Islamic nation with more brotherhood, solidarity, and peace.
