Hajjah – Saba:
Protests erupted in Hajjah governorate on Friday, following Eid al-Adha prayers and sermons, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Led by governor Hilal al-Sufi and other officials, participants chanted slogans disavowing enemies of Islam, America and Israel.
They condemned the Zionist enemy's crimes of genocide in Gaza amidst shameful Arab and Islamic inaction.
The protestors also denounced the "almost daily desecration" and incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, including "blasphemy and insults against the Prophet of Islam."
A statement from the protests declared full and constant solidarity with the Palestinian people, asserting they are "not alone." It condemned America's veto in the UN Security Council as clear evidence of its partnership in Israeli crimes and called on Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their responsibilities towards the violations against Palestinians, al-Aqsa, and the Prophet, warning of divine punishments for inaction.
The statement also urged consoling the poor, maintaining family ties, and charitable acts on Eid.
