Ibb – Saba:
Mass student rallies took place today in the Al-Dhahar District of Ibb Governorate to condemn the ongoing crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The demonstrations were organized by the local education sector.
Students from both public and private schools in the district participated in the march, which started in front of Al-Nahda School, passed through the College of Education and Al-Thawra Hospital, and ended at Al-Farouq School square.
Participants waved Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted anti-Israeli slogans, denouncing the continuous atrocities against the residents of Gaza.
Present at the rally were Mohammad Al-Mutawakkil, Deputy Head of the Education Sector in Ibb, Issam Al-Barh, head of the sector in Al-Dhahar District, Deputy Director of School Activities Abdulkarim Al-Kathiri, along with school administrators and educators.
Similar rallies and student sit-ins were also held in other districts of Ibb, including rural areas, Jiblah, Al-Udayn, and Al-Sha’er, as part of a broader campaign to protest Israeli crimes.
Statements issued during the events held the United States and the Zionist entity fully responsible for the ongoing genocide and starvation in Gaza. They also condemned Arab and Islamic regimes that have normalized relations with Israel for their shameful silence and complicity—blaming them for aiding these crimes through American backing and Gulf funding.
