Nablus - Saba:
Israeli occupation forces stormed Balata refugee camp and the Rujeib area east of Nablus this Thursday morning and surrounded a house.
Security sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency that Israeli special forces stormed the camp, followed by military reinforcements. They surrounded the home of detainee Ashraf Abu al-Aal, searched it, and ransacked its contents. They then stormed the Rujeib housing area and searched another home belonging to the Abdul-Aal family, wreaking havoc. No arrests were reported.
Last night, a number of settlers stormed the village of Awarta, south of Nablus, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. They performed Talmudic rituals at religious shrines there.
This was preceded by Israeli occupation forces closing the Awarta military checkpoint, preventing civilian vehicles from entering or exiting it to ensure the settlers' safe passage.
