Sana’a - Saba:
Researcher Waleed Saleh Abdo Al-Jarbani has been awarded a PhD with distinction in Physics, specializing in Renewable Energy Physics, from the Faculty of Science at Sana’a University. His dissertation, titled "Performance Analysis and Optimal Utilization of Wind Turbines Suitable for Selected Sites in Yemen," earned high praise from the examination committee.
The committee, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Qassim Al-Mutawakel (internal examiner from Sana’a University) and comprising Dr. Mohammed Ali Shukri (thesis supervisor from Sana’a University) and Dr. Riyad Mohammed Abdulbari (external examiner from Hodeidah University), commended the depth and significance of the research.
The defense was attended by key officials, including:
- Dr. Ali Saif, Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water
- Adel Badr, Deputy Minister
- Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research for Higher Education
