Foreign Ministry Calls on International Community to Stop Crime of Century in Gaza
[Mon, 26 May 2025 15:19:42 +0300]

Sana'a - (Saba):

The Foreign of Ministry Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community to assume its legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities to stop the crime of the century in Gaza.

The Foreign of Ministry Affairs affirmed in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that while it has noted a change in the positions of some countries regarding the aggression and blockade imposed on Gaza, they still fall short of the required level that could contribute to forcing the usurping Zionist entity to halt its brutal and hateful aggression and blockade of Gaza.

The statement explained that what is happening in Gaza is an insult to the international community, humanitarian values, and international laws, and threatens to undermine the international legal system, the fragility and weakness of which the aggression on Gaza has proven.

He considered the genocidal crimes taking place in Gaza a stain on the foreheads of all those who colluded or failed to support the afflicted people of Gaza. He pointed out that the mere occurrence of a single crime anywhere in the world would cause them to rise up and not sit down, while Gaza has been annihilated for nearly 600 days, and the world has not moved a finger or batted an eyelid.

The Foreign of Ministry Affairs renewed its call for the international community to assume its responsibilities in pressuring the Zionist entity to end its aggression against Gaza, particularly by condemning the aggression, breaking the siege imposed on Gaza, and halting the looming famine.

It also called for halting the supply of weapons to the Zionist entity, recognizing the Palestinian state, and joining the lawsuit filed by South Africa with the International Court of Justice to hold Zionist war criminals accountable and prevent their impunity.

The Ministry affirmed Yemen's continued support for the Palestinian people by all possible means, including continuing military operations and blocking air and sea navigation until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.
