Capital Sana'a on Tuesday on Tuesday held the closing ceremony for the 1446 AH summer activities and courses, themed "Knowledge and Jihad," with Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi in attendance.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of these summer programs for the youth, whom he described as the generation of the "September 21 Revolution" and the "Quranic movement."
He highlighted the knowledge and skills gained by participants, including Quran recitation and memorization, agricultural skills, and talents in sports and arts.
Al-Rahawi stressed the need for spiritual, mental, and physical preparation for this generation, who he believes will build Yemen's future, support Gaza, and defend Palestine, stating that this prepared generation is what "Zionist imperialism fears."
Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad praised the large turnout of 1.2 million students who learned Quranic culture and other sciences under qualified educators.
He stated that this success reflects the leadership's commitment to creating a generation armed with knowledge and Islamic values. He described the youth as the generation of "the promised conquest and holy jihad," the future leaders, and the carriers of the "light of the Quran."
The students' speech, delivered by Mohammed al-Wadi, acknowledged the efforts that led to the success of the summer schools, which saw significant community and official involvement.
He emphasized that these activities helped students develop their creativity and skills, providing them with knowledge and protecting them from "soft war" and "false cultures."
The closing ceremony included student performances and a song by the Waad Allah band. Several high-ranking officials also attended the event.
