Taiz - Saba
The local authority in Taiz Governorate launched a training workshop on urban planning and settlements, under the slogan "A Hand to Protect... and a Hand to Build."
The workshop was attended by 40 cadres from relevant authorities and community representatives. The workshop aims to prepare 37 detailed plans covering an area of 2,532 hectares in the new city of Taiz, to reduce informal construction, mitigate conflicts, and promote investment and justice.
Taiza Local Council Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Haj emphasized the importance of urban planning in addressing challenges, praising the interaction of the Land Authority and relevant authorities. Abdul Samad Al-Murtada, advisor to the head of the Land Authority, considered the experience a model that can be replicated in other governorates, given its principles of justice and preservation of the public interest.
The Authority's Undersecretary, Mohammed Al-Humaiqani, emphasized that the project will contribute to eliminating corruption and achieving justice in land settlement.
