Sana'a - Saba:

Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Mujahid Ahmed on Saturday inspected the level of supply of office and technical equipment to the ministry's warehouses to meet the needs of the courts, particularly the newly established general, specialized, and specialized courts.

Judge Mujahid directed the Equipment and Procurement Departments to develop an urgent plan to provide the required supplies according to the highest standards.

The Minister of Justice and Human Rights today reviewed the progress of judicial publications for the courts at the Judicial Printing Press building.

He stressed the need to complete judicial publications within five days and with high quality, emphasizing the importance of the printing press adhering to precise technical specifications to ensure the continuity and quality of judicial work.

The Minister of Justice and Human Rights also inspected the progress of the maintenance project for the Higher Judicial Institute building, which is being implemented by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit and funded by fees collected from courts and notary offices.

He reviewed the procedures for supplying furniture for the institute's student housing, funded by the Judicial Support Fund, and directed the immediate commencement of construction of a "hanger" for an internal kitchen for the institute's students, as a basic requirement to assist them in their academic and judicial training during their studies.

Judge Mujahid reviewed the progress of work at the National Commission for Human Rights and the level of its implementation of its assigned tasks, most notably monitoring and documenting crimes and violations committed by the US, Israeli, and British aggression against Yemen.

During the visit, the Minister of Justice urged Ali Tayseer, the head of the Human Rights Sector, and the Commission's leaders and employees to quickly prepare files on crimes and violations, in coordination with the Public Prosecution and relevant authorities, and complete them in preparation for domestic and international prosecution of the perpetrators.

He stressed the need to expedite the preparation of the Authority's plan for the year 1447 AH, in accordance with the priorities of the Government of Change and Reconstruction, the Ministry's program, and the requirements of this phase.

Judge Mujahid emphasized that the visits come within the context of strengthening the justice system and improving judicial services, in addition to supporting the state's efforts to confront the aggression's violations and defend the rights of Yemenis through the mechanisms of domestic and international law.
