Transport and Public Works Minister Mohammed Ayash Qahim and Al-Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi visited Al-Salif Rural Hospital today to review workflow and the health services provided.
During the inspection, Qahim and Atifi assessed performance levels across the hospital’s departments and received a briefing from the medical and administrative staff on key challenges and needs facing the facility.
Minister Qahim emphasized the importance of supporting the health sector in coastal districts, given its critical role in alleviating citizens’ suffering. He praised the medical team’s efforts despite limited resources.
Governor Atifi commended the hospital’s services as a vital facility in the district, urging intensified efforts to enhance medical services and secure essential supplies in coordination with relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, Al-Salif District Director Abdulrahim Al-Shami noted that the hospital serves a wide segment of the district’s residents and neighboring areas, stressing the need for additional staff and medical supplies to improve its operations.
