The head of the Civil Defense Authority, Major General Ibrahim al-Muayyad, has urged all public and private facilities, including companies, factories, malls, and fuel stations, to strictly comply with public security and safety regulations. In a statement to Saba News Agency today, he stressed that adherence to these standards is crucial for protecting lives and property and preventing disasters and accidents.
Major General al-Muayyad also highlighted the importance of training workers in these establishments to effectively respond to disasters, accidents, and emergencies. He warned that companies, factories, and malls will be held fully accountable for any non-compliance with safety standards and that the Authority will pursue legal action against violators under Civil Defense Law No. 24 of 1997.
