Hodeida undersecretary for Eastern Directorates Affairs Amer Muthanna and Director of Bajil district Abdul-Moneim al-Rifai on Saturday inaugurated the "Martyr Abu al-Abbas al-Hasani" art exhibition featuring the work of summer course students at al-Najah School in the district.
The exhibition showcased models and artistic depictions reflecting the outcomes of the summer courses, with a focus on cultural and national themes, notably including missiles and drones, indicating the students' awareness of national and religious issues.
During the opening, Muthanna praised the efforts of teachers and students in organizing the exhibition. He viewed the displayed works as an embodiment of the religious and cultural values instilled by the summer courses and a reflection of the youth's positive engagement with their homeland and nation's concerns. He emphasized the importance of these courses in cultivating values, encouraging Quran memorization, promoting beneficial knowledge, and strengthening a sense of faith-based identity.
The Director of the Directorate commended the organizers and supporters, highlighting that the exhibition demonstrates the success of the summer course activities and the growing skills and knowledge of the students.
Yasser al-Hasani, the Directorate's Mobilization Officer, stated that the exhibition aims to reinforce Quranic culture, enhance awareness of religious and national affiliation, and educate about the dangers posed by enemies and "soft warfare."
Mohammed Sajid, the Directorate's Education Sector Officer, explained that the exhibition reflects the positive impact of the educational summer programs in shaping the awareness of young people and connecting them with authentic values and principles.
