On Thursday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), released footage of an ambush it carried out against Zionist enemy forces in the Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip, approximately six months ago.
The Brigades, which named the operation "The Landing Ambush," stated that it was executed along the evacuation landing route east of Jabalia during the "Third Battle of the Camp" on December 3, 2024.
Al-Qassam explained that its fighters carried out the operation after infiltrating behind enemy lines near the enemy army’s landing zone (a site used for evacuating dead and wounded soldiers).
The Brigades detailed that the operation involved targeting two military jeeps and several enemy soldiers using two "Shuwaz" explosive devices, a TV-guided explosive, and a "Yasin 105" shell.
They noted that the delay in releasing the footage was due to security considerations.
