Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, confirmed on Thursday that the Zionist enemy continues to commit the crime of systematic starvation against more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by restricting the entry of humanitarian aid and subjecting it to security and political calculations, under what has become known as "starvation engineering."
In a press statement, the movement stated that the enemy seeks to impose facts on the ground through its "ghetto aid" plan, attempting to portray the crime as a humanitarian solution.
Hamas clarified that the amount of aid allowed in after 81 days of complete blockade represents only a fraction of Gaza's natural needs. Before the war, the Strip required around 500 trucks daily to meet the minimum requirements for life.
"Today, the quantities permitted to enter do not exceed even a tenth of that number, while the number of displaced people rises, the healthcare system collapses, and hunger and malnutrition spread—especially among children," the statement added.
The movement warned against the enemy's attempts to push forward its plan of establishing what resembles "detention camps" in the southern regions of Gaza under the guise of aid. It stressed that this is a rejected colonial scheme that will not succeed and will be confronted by the will of the Palestinian people, who refuse humiliation and submission and remain steadfast in their right to life, freedom, and dignity.
Hamas renewed its call on the international community and humanitarian institutions to urgently pressure for a complete lifting of the siege, reject the engineering of hunger and humiliation, and ensure a free and permanent humanitarian corridor that guarantees the flow of aid to meet the actual needs of the Palestinian people without control or blackmail.
