The administrative body in Sa'ada province, headed by Governor Mohammed Awad, discussed on Tuesday the progress of implementing service and development projects in the province, as well as the procurement of equipment for the districts.
The meeting, attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mohammed Al-Ammad, addressed aspects related to promoting community work in the districts and providing equipment for several districts through contributions distributed among the Interventions Unit, the province, and the community in the procurement process.
The attendees emphasized the importance of executing projects according to the required standards and quality by the Executive Unit for the Construction and Maintenance of Roads and Public Spaces, as well as following up on the bill of quantities. They also stressed the need to support social development projects within the province's plan and approved backing for social development in the province, given the nature of the current phase.
Additionally, the meeting discussed finalizing procedures for purchasing 13 pieces of equipment for the districts and forming a committee to procure them according to a prior agreement with the former leadership of the Ministry of Finance, with the purchase to be carried out in two phases.
The status of the Technical Secretariat was reviewed, with an emphasis on the importance of improving work performance, particularly in automation, and ensuring follow-up on the outcomes of the administrative body and executive office meetings.
