Geneva - Saba:
UN humanitarian organizations on Tuesday called for allowing large quantities of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, noting that the relief supplies allowed are far from sufficient to meet needs.
According to the Palestinian News Agency, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and the World Food Programme called for an immediate ceasefire.
These organizations also called for the opening of humanitarian corridors and the necessary permits to deliver aid, food for children, and medical supplies.
