Brasilia-Saba: Brazilian President Lula da Silva affirmed that his country is no longer as dependent on America as it was in the past, emphasizing that it will not allow Washington to impose its economic policies.
During a speech he delivered at a conference of the ruling Workers' Party on Monday, which was broadcast on social media, Lula said, "Brazil now enjoys extensive trade relations around the world and is experiencing economic stability."
Lula added, "We are no longer in a position of dependency as we were in the past."
