Sana'a - Saba:
The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology announced on Saturday the resumption of scheduled flights at Sana'a International Airport, which was restored after being hit by over 30 Israeli agression on May 6th. The aggression strikes caused widespread damage to vital airport facilities, violating international aviation conventions.
Following the enemy aggression, technical teams worked urgently to rehabilitate the airport according to ICAO standards. Today, four flights between Sana'a and Jordan's Queen Alia Airport carried 575 passengers. Ten UN humanitarian flights had also operated earlier, demonstrating the airport's readiness.
The Authority stated that the resumption of flights symbolizes Yemen's resilience against systematic targeting, with Sana'a Airport becoming a symbol of steadfastness. GACA reaffirmed its commitment to its role in ensuring humanitarian flights and alleviating citizens' suffering, expressing confidence in its national staff.
