Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting chaired by Hamoud al-Naqeeb, Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee, convened in the capital Sana'a on Saturday to discuss ways to enhance the protection, care, and rehabilitation of juveniles at the Social Guidance Center for Boys.
The meeting, attended by the Juvenile Prosecutor and directors from the Ministry of Interior, the Social Affairs and Labor Office, the Guidance Center, the Safe Childhood Center, and the Education Sector, addressed juvenile cases and the challenges faced by the Center.
Attendees emphasized the importance of collaboration among relevant authorities to resolve issues related to juvenile transfer, rehabilitation, and comprehensive care, as well as activating protection mechanisms within the juvenile justice system.
The attendees stressed the need to support the Social Guidance Center in Sana'a and enable it to rehabilitate and care for delinquent children, instill religious values, and reintegrate them into society. Following the meeting, clothing was distributed to the juveniles at the Center, thanks to a charitable donation.
