Sana'a - Saba:
The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, inaugurated on Saturday the final ministerial theoretical exams for students of technical and vocational institutes in the Capital Secretariat and provinces for the academic year 1446 AH.

A total of 5,245 male and female students from 65 government and private institutes across 11 provinces are taking the exams, distributed among 23 examination centers in the Capital Secretariat and provinces, including 1,557 female students.

The exams cover 70 specializations in medical, engineering, industrial, technical, vocational, agricultural, and commercial fields, with a total of 279 theoretical subjects. The tests are conducted at three levels: a technical diploma (4,118 students), a vocational secondary diploma (369 students), and a professional diploma (758 students).

Minister Al-Saadi, accompanied by Undersecretaries for Secondary Education Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, and Basic Education Hadi Ammar, as well as the Director of Technical Education in the Secretariat Abdullah Sharaf, inspected the progress of exams at the Yemeni-Chinese Institute of Applied Sciences and the examination center at Arwa Commercial Institute for Girls. They reviewed the level of discipline in examination halls and the efforts made to provide a suitable environment for students to take their exams smoothly.

They received a briefing from the Dean of the Yemeni-Chinese Institute, Abdulrabah Al-Talou’, and the head of the examination center at Arwa Commercial Institute, Najwa Al-Rab’, on the exam procedures, the mechanisms for approving exam models, and the distribution of students across halls and committees according to the approved ministerial plan.

Minister Al-Saadi praised all efforts contributing to the preparation , implementation of the exams , the success of the training process in technical and vocational institutes. He expressed hope for qualitative development in technical education, including updated curricula, provision of necessary educational materials, an increase in student enrollment in technical and vocational education.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem Al-Duais reviewed the progress of the final theoretical exams at the examination center of Baghdad Technical and Industrial Institute.

Dr. Al-Duais, along with the Acting Undersecretary for Curricula, Guidance, and Education Planning Hameed Ghathaya, Directors of Examinations in Technical Education Walid Al-Hadaa and Information Systems Essam Al-Afeer, and several ministry officials, was briefed by the institute’s dean, Abdulrazzaq Qais, and specialists on exam procedures, the approval of test models, and student distribution in accordance with the approved plan.

The Deputy Minister commended the readiness of examination centers and adherence to the ministerial plan prepared by the Higher Examination Committee. He appreciated the efforts of all faculty, invigilators, and supervisors in technical and vocational institutes across the Capital Secretariat and governorates, emphasizing their role in maintaining the training process and providing a conducive environment for students to take their exams in an organized manner.

He affirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting the examination process and ensuring the success of the ministerial exams for technical and vocational institutes, considering it a national responsibility to counter aggression and thwart plans aimed at disrupting education and training.
