The Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office considered, on Saturday, that what is happening in the "Rakefet" section of Ramla prison can only be described as a gross violation of international humanitarian law and a flagrant breach of the Geneva Conventions, which oblige the Zionist enemy to protect prisoners and prevent them from being subjected to torture.
The office said in a statement that what Gaza prisoners are being subjected to is systematic torture and the deliberate denial of basic rights, including the right to a fair trial, the right to contact family members, healthcare, and human dignity.
