Sana'a (Saba) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Amer, met today with the UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Sana'a, Julian Harens.
During the meeting, Minister Amer delivered a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, expressing the Yemeni government's dissatisfaction with the continued suspension of humanitarian aid in Sa'ada Governorate.
He described the decision as a dangerous and unjustified precedent, especially given that Saada Governorate is "the most affected and most in need," having been subjected to ongoing aggression for ten years, most recently by the US, which has targeted the country's economic infrastructure.
