Gaza – Saba:

The count of Palestinian women prisoners in Israeli detention, held under administrative orders, has risen to 30.

The Palestinian Information Center reported, citing a joint statement from the Commission of Detainees and the Palestinian Prisoners Club today, Tuesday, that "the Israeli enemy's authorities have transferred the prisoner Samah Hajai to administrative detention," noting that she is one of the female prisoners released in prisoner exchange deals with the resistance in Gaza last year.

Prisoner institutions mentioned that dozens of child prisoners are also languishing in the enemy's jails under administrative detention.

They clarified that the Israeli enemy's courts issued new administrative detention orders and renewal orders for 64 prisoners in various prisons.
Since the beginning of the genocide war on October 7, 2023, the number of administrative arrest orders has exceeded 9,392, including new orders and renewals, some of which are against children and women, according to a previous statement from prisoner institutions.

The number of arrests among women after October 7 has reached about 430 female prisoners.

Prisoner institutions clarified that the number of known female prisoners has reached 94, among them three from Gaza whose identities are known and who are in Damon prison.

The Israeli authorities are holding more than 10,100 prisoners in their jails as of the beginning of October 2024, while the number of administrative detainees is 3,398. Additionally, the number classified by the enemy's prison administration as "illegal combatants" from Gaza is 1,618, according to data from prisoner institutions.
