Gaza Health Ministry has launched a distress call , an urgent appeal to global health , humanitarian organizations, activists, and people of conscience worldwide to save the children of Gaza from death and starvation amid the ongoing Zionist genocide war.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the ministry addressed leaders of health , humanitarian institutions, activists everywhere, and those with a living human conscience.
“At a time when the children of Gaza are facing the most horrific violations of humanity—systematic killing, deliberate starvation, and deprivation of their most basic rights to treatment and safety—we direct this urgent plea to you,” the statement read.
It added, “The world cannot remain silent in the face of this ongoing crime. Therefore, we urge everyone to organize a dedicated week of solidarity for them, starting May 5, including various supportive activities and events worldwide.”
The ministry emphasized that thousands of children are being mercilessly killed or severely injured, while diseases spread due to the destruction of hospitals and the blockade on medical supplies. Famine also threatens the lives of thousands under the unjust siege.
It called on health institutions to urgently dispatch medical teams to Gaza , provide medicines, medical supplies, and emergency relief.
The ministry appealed to humanitarian organizations to organize urgent relief campaigns (food, water, shelter), document violations, pursue international legal action against perpetrators, and support psychological aid programs for surviving children.
