MOSCOW September 04. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday claimed targeting missile launch systems belonging to the forces of the Kiev regime, neutralizing 20 Ukrainian military personnel in the Sumy region, downing four drones and destroying four drones.
"Russian forces destroyed two Himars and MLRS rocket launchers, and two vehicles accompanying the Ukrainian armed forces," the Ministry said in a statement, noting that 20 Ukrainian military personnel were neutralized in the Sumy region.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry released a video documenting the destruction of a Czech-made Vampire rocket launcher by units of Russian forces in Sumy province.
The Russian defense said, in a statement, that units of the forces of the Russian "North" group, destroyed a Czech-made "Vamper" rocket launcher with a high-precision missile "Krasnopol" in the Sumy province.
The statement confirmed that as a result of the accurate strike, the target was accurately destroyed.
