Tulkarm - Saba:
Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 95th consecutive day, and for the 82nd day against the Nour Shams camp, amid ongoing field escalation and a continuous campaign of raids and incursions.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that last night and this morning, the city witnessed active movements of enemy vehicles and foot soldiers patrolling the main and side streets, obstructing the movement of citizens and their vehicles, specifically at the Abu Safiya junction in the eastern neighborhood, Nablus Street, Shuweika Roundabout, and the Dhenaba suburb.
They detained a number of young men and interrogated them on the spot.
In the Nour Shams camp, eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation forces deployed inside the camp deliberately set fire to a house after midnight, specifically in the eastern neighborhood behind the schools.
This resulted in a large fire that engulfed the house and a vehicle parked nearby.
Israeli forces also raided the Dhnaba suburb east of Tulkarm, detaining a number of young men as they patrolled the area. Their IDs were checked and they were subjected to field interrogation, but no arrests were reported.
In the Shuweika roundabout in the northern neighborhood of the city, Israeli forces arrested the young man, Adi Sarouji, while he was at work. They later released him after assaulting him.
The Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps and their surroundings are witnessing a heavy deployment of Israeli forces, firing live ammunition and sound bombs, with occasional explosions being heard. This coincides with a tight siege of these camps, with entrances closed with earth mounds. This is accompanied by raids and vandalism of homes, and the forced evacuation of remaining residents at gunpoint.
The Zionist enemy forces continue, around the clock, to send military reinforcements, including vehicles and infantry units, into the city, its two camps, and its suburbs.
These reinforcements include live ammunition and sound bombs, raids and searches of homes and shops, vandalizing their contents, and subjecting those present to interrogation, abuse, and arrest.
The Zionist enemy also continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating their residents. They also station their vehicles and bulldozers in the vicinity.
The ongoing Zionist aggression and escalation against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps has resulted in the deaths of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom is eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested.
It also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,200 families from the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, comprising more than 25,000 citizens, along with hundreds of citizens from the northern and eastern neighborhoods of the city after their homes were seized and a number of them converted into military barracks.
The aggression caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were subjected to total and partial demolition, burning, vandalism, looting, and theft. 396 homes were completely destroyed and 2,573 partially destroyed in the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in addition to the closure of their entrances and alleys with earth mounds.
