Sana'a - Saba:
Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahawi congratulated Yemeni workers, both men and women, across all fields of work and production on the occasion of International Workers' Day, which falls on May 1st each year.

In a message sent to the leadership of the General Federation of Yemeni Trade Unions, Al-Rahawi commended the patriotic and militant role of the Yemeni labor and trade union movement since its establishment in the mid-20th century, including its resistance against British occupation.

He emphasized that the labor movement today, through its steadfastness during the years of aggression and the U.S.-Saudi-Emirati blockade, embodies the strength of the authentic national stance and unwavering loyalty to the homeland, despite all the challenges and difficulties resulting from the ongoing criminal aggression and siege.

Al-Rahawi affirmed that the government of change and development is committed to strengthening partnership relations with the General Federation of Trade Unions and the private sector, based on the spirit of cooperation that binds the three parties in addressing various labor-related issues.

The Prime Minister noted that workers, across all sectors, bear the greatest responsibility in advancing the nation through their presence in various workplaces and production sites, insisting on fulfilling their duties with a sense of national and ethical responsibility that inspires pride, honor, and appreciation.
