RAMALLAH August 26. 2024 (Saba)— Israeli forces have arrested at least 15 Palestinians in the West Bank between Sunday evening and Monday morning, among those detained are several former prisoners.

According to a joint statement by the Prisoners Club and the Commission of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners' Affairs, the arrests included former prisoner Hassan al-Safadi, who was re-arrested in Nablus.

Al-Safadi had been released just a month ago after nine months in administrative detention.

The arrests occurred across various West Bank governorates, including Nablus, Qalqilya, Hebron, Bethlehem, and al-Quds.

The statement also reported that the Israeli forces conducted extensive raids, inflicted damage on homes, and issued threats to detainees and their families.

Since the onset of the current conflict, Nazi forces have arrested over 10,200 individuals in the West Bank and al-Quds.

The ongoing operations are part of what is described as a comprehensive campaign against the Palestinian population.
