MOSCOW August 09. 2024 (Saba) - Russian air defenses destroyed 75 Ukrainian drones in the skies of a number of western provinces and Crimea, in addition to destroying seven canoes in the Black Sea last night.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday that its rotating air defenses destroyed or intercepted 26 drones over the Belgorod province, 19 over Lipetsk, seven over Kursk, five over Bryansk, four over Voronezh, one over Oryol, five over the Republic of Crimea, and eight more over the Black Sea.
The statement said the Canoes destroyed in the waters of the Black Sea were on their way to Crimea.
