GAZA July 12. 2024 (Saba) - Ali Abu Shaheen, a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's political bureau, said on Saturday that the prime minister of the Zionist enemy entity, Netanyahu, is looking for American guarantees that will test him the ability to resume aggression on Gaza whenever he wants.
Abu Shaheen said during a televised interview that the US administration has no intention of exerting real pressure on Netanyahu. He stressed that the ceasefire must be clear and does not tolerate political maneuvering.
He explained that the enemy practices military blackmail by targeting civilians and committing crimes. Stressing that the Palestinian resistance on the ground is our guarantee to oblige the occupation to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
He added: "There must be international guarantees to oblige the occupation entity to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. He pointed out that the Zionist enemy is constantly obstructing the achievement of a ceasefire agreement.
A member of Islamic Jihad's political bureau also stressed that the resistance would not accept fragmentation in the full Zionist withdrawal from Gaza or the return of displaced persons.
