HODEIDA May 31. 2024 (Saba) - The media sector in Hodeida province condemned the crime of targeting the US-British aggression on Hodeida Radio building in Al-Hawk District and the resulting damage and casualties.
A joint statement issued by the media offices, Saba Agency, Al-Thawra, Ansar Allah Media Center, and channel correspondents considered the American-British aggression’s targeting of the Yemeni media as evidence of bankruptcy and a state of confusion with the aim of silencing media platforms that support the Palestinian cause.
He pointed out that the aggression's air strikes directly on Hodeida Radio, launching a number of raids on civilian facilities , objects, and committing serious violations against media outlets in Yemen, reveal the ugly face of the American aggression and its criminal goals.
The media sector in Hodeida confirmed that the radio building is one of the civilian facilities and objects that are criminalized to target, as stipulated in international conventions, considering targeting it as a war crime.
The statement called on the international community and human rights organizations to stand with the media professionals in Yemen, and to condemn such blatant crimes.
