PARIS May 29. 2024 (Saba) - The French National Assembly suspended the membership of MP Sebastien Delogue for 15 days, against the backdrop of his waving the Palestinian flag at the assembly’s headquarters.
Delogo waved the Palestinian flag in Parliament, denouncing France's continued supply of supplies to the occupation army and selling it the weapons it uses in the genocidal war it is waging against the Gaza Strip.
The French MP, who belongs to the "La France Insoumise" LFI party, stressed that the occupation committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, where the number of martyrs exceeded 36,000.
Delogo published, on his account in “X”, a video showing the Palestinian flag being raised in Parliament, accompanying the video with a quote by the French Marxist thinker Frantz Fanon, which said: “We are nothing on earth if we are not first and foremost soldiers for a cause; the cause of the people, the cause of Justice and freedom."
The video showed two people heading to Dilogo, and removing the Palestinian flag from him.
