MOSCOW December 21. 2023 (Saba) - Russian forces shot down a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter and 32 Ukrainian drones during the past 24 hours.
The Russia Today website quoted the Ministry of Defense in its daily report on the progress of the Russian military operation in Ukraine saying that the Russian armed forces were able to repel five Ukrainian attacks in the direction of Kubyansk, while the enemy’s losses in this direction amounted to up to 40 soldiers.
In the direction of Krasnolyman, the Russian Armed Forces repelled two attacks, and the enemy lost up to 180 soldiers. They also repelled an attack launched by assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the village of Shumi in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed more than 16.2 thousand vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the Russian military operation on Ukraine.
In the direction of southern Donetsk, the Russian Armed Forces struck the manpower concentration points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the villages of Yelizavetovka, Vladimirovka and Novomikhaylovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, where the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this direction amounted to 110 soldiers.
Russian air defenses also shot down a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter, in addition to 32 Ukrainian drones, and intercepted five HIMARs missiles.
The Russian Armed Forces struck points of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 127 districts.
