RIYADH, Dec 22 (Saba) -- Saudi Assistant Defence Minister Prince Khaled Bin Sultan announced Tuesday that 73 Saudis have been killed and 26 others missing during clashes with Huthi rebels along the southern borders with Yemen, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Tuesday.

Prince Khaled told the press that the total number of Saudis injured since the start of the confrontations with Huthis in November has reached 400, with 60 cases left hospitalized.

"The southern borders with Yemen are under control and safe," the Saudi Official confirmed where what is left is Yemeni rebels who seized the border village of Al-Jabiri and they have 48 hours to vacate it or surrender.

Prince Khaled visited the border area earlier today and was briefed by army commanders on the situation on the ground vis-a-vis the Huthi rebles
