SANA'A August 18. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a headed by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, discussed on Sunday the progress of work in the tourism sector and ways to develop and grow it.

During the meeting, which included leaders of the tourism sector, Minister Al-Yafei stressed the importance of working hard with a sense of responsibility and one team to develop the tourism sector and meet the desired ambitions.

He pointed out that the program of the government of change and construction came to meet the requirements of the current stage and the noble sacrifices of the Yemeni people, and rises to the level of their ambitions and achieves the principle of justice and equality, fairness and trust and achieves collaborative collective work.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism urged everyone to assume their responsible role and keep pace with the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.. stressing the importance of establishing the rules of institutional work, identifying the sources of failure and shortcomings and addressing them, in a way that advances the tourism sector and enhances its role in achieving development in the future.

After that, Minister Al-Yafei was briefed on the extent of the damage that occurred to the former Ministry of Tourism building as a result of the events of 2011, as well as the requirements for its restoration and operation in a way that restores the vital role of the tourism sector.
