BAYDA, Jan. 06 (Saba) - A tribal sheikh has been killed in an ambush by unknown gunmen in Bayda province, a security official said Wednesday.
The gunmen shot dead late on Tuesday sheikh Mohammed Abduqader al-Sayid and four of his escorts, including two of his sons, and wounded another one in Zaher district.
The official expected that al-Qaeda is behind the sheikh death.
