ANAA, March 18 (Saba) - President Mahdi al-Mashat met on Monday with Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Abdullah Dars.

During the meeting, they discussed the conditions for domestic gas and oil derivatives supplying to citizens in light of the escalation of the saudi-US coalition aggression and the prevention of oil derivatives vessels from reaching the port of Hodeidah despite obtaining the licenses of the United Nations in order to increase the suffering of the Yemeni people and exacerbate the humanitarian situation due to the suspension of service and health facilities.

The meeting touched on the acts of aggression and its tools of tampering with the oil sectors, as well as the looting of wealth and oil revenues and deprivation of the state treasury from them.

The President stressed the importance of increasing the efforts to achieve stability in the market and meet the needs of citizens of oil derivatives and domestic gas.

He stressed the importance of developing plans to provide these derivatives, especially with the coming of the month of Ramadan, which is increasing demand on these materials directly related to the lives of citizens daily.

The President called on the United Nations and the international community to put pressure on the countries of the aggression coalition to allow the entry of ships of oil derivatives and the release of ships holding United Nations licenses.

The Minister of Oil referred to the efforts exerted to provide oil derivatives and domestic gas. He pointed out in this regard the imported domestic gas shipments that arrived recently to the port of Hodeidah, which contributed to providing part of the needs of the local market, especially vehicles and factories.

The Minister pointed out that the continuation of aggression coalition in the detention of oil derivatives vessels exacerbate the humanitarian situation and lead to higher prices of these materials.
