Sana'a - Saba:
The Heritage and Cultural Development Fund in the capital Sana'a organized on Wednesday a poetry morning in solidarity with Gaza against the American-Zionist aggression.
Poets al-Harith bin al-Fadl, Khalida al-Nasiri, and Badi' al-Zaman al-Sultan presented poems expressing solidarity with Palestinians, denouncing Zionist crimes and Arab silence, and highlighting the unity of the Yemeni and Palestinian cause and support for Operation "Flood of al-Aqsa.
The poets praised Yemen's stance in supporting Palestine. Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei commended the poems' "jihadist spirit" and solidarity, praising the leadership's and people's support for Palestine.
The Minister noted the event was part of ongoing cultural activities in solidarity with Gaza and criticized Arab normalization and apathy towards the "genocide" in Gaza, attributing some poets' disengagement to campaigns promoting Iran as a greater threat than Israel.
He emphasized the importance of adhering to national principles, including poetry, to support the Palestinian cause and highlighted the September 21 Revolution's goal of reviving resistance and supporting Palestine.
