In a press statement to Saba, the minister said that the ministry has begun to implement programs and emergency interventions so as to ease the suffering of small farmers and rural families in the light of bad economic situation in the country.
Ghazi noted the role of the international United Nations and World Food Programme (FAO)'s Organizations in Yemen and its support for the ministry's efforts and its needs to ease the suffering of citizens, and the implementation of immunization to livestock and providing vaccines.
He stressed that the economic and food situation in Yemen need more solidarity and an ongoing coordination by all concerned parties to provide food security, especially in rural areas.
