The local authority and General Mobilization in Sa'afan district on Sunday held a speech event to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) under the slogan “Humiliation is Out of Our Hands.”
Speakers emphasized the significance of Ashura and the lessons it offers in resisting tyranny.
The speakers highlighted the goals of Imam Hussein’s revolution against the injustice of Yazid and linked the Karbala tragedy to ongoing oppression, especially in Gaza.
The event called for embodying the spirit of Imam Hussein in defending justice and supporting the oppressed.
