Al-Jawf – SABA:
A solemn funeral procession was held in Al-Jawf Governorate for the body of Martyr Colonel Yahya Ali Askar, Commander of the Central Security Forces in the governorate, who was martyred while performing his duty in the line of service to the homeland.
The funeral was attended by the Director of Al-Jawf Security, along with military and security leaders, colleagues, and relatives of the martyr. Mourners reaffirmed their commitment to continue along the path of the martyr, who fell in the arenas of jihad.
They praised Colonel Askar’s role and contributions in confronting the forces of aggression, as well as his dedication to maintaining security and stability in the governorate.
Official funeral ceremonies were held for the martyr’s body after prayers at Al-Shaab Mosque in the capital, Sana’a. He was then laid to rest at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in his hometown in Al-Zahir District.
