Sana'a - Saba:
The residents of Old Sana'a District in the capital launched the commemorative activities for the Prophet’s birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) for the year 1447 AH.
During the inaugural evening, attended by the Secretary-General of the Capital Secretariat for Services Sector, Engineer Abdul Fattah Al-Sharafi, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, a member of Ansar Allah's Political Bureau, emphasized the importance of reviving this noble religious occasion and embodying love and loyalty to the Messenger of Allah by following his path in both word and deed.
He stressed the need to express joy and celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the Greatest Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), calling for decorating neighborhoods, homes, and streets with green lights in a manner befitting the occasion’s significance in the hearts of Yemenis.
Dr. Al-Mutawakkil urged strengthening the connection with the Noble Prophet and renewing the pledge to follow his guidance in confronting the enemies of the nation, while remaining faithful to the cause of supporting Gaza and the Palestinian people. He praised the efforts and engagement of Old Sana'a’s residents and leadership in organizing the event to honor the Prophet’s birth.
The evening—attended by District Director Mahdi Arahab, Local Secretary Mujahid Al-Ghail, executive and tribal leaders, social figures, development volunteers, and crowds of Old Sana'a residents—featured diverse performances expressing joy for the Prophet’s birthday.
