Hodeidah - Saba:
Al-Hodeidah City Square today witnessed a massive student march in solidarity with the people of Gaza and the Palestinian cause, condemning the massacres, genocide, and starvation crimes committed by the U.S.-Israeli enemy against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Participants in the march, led by First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri, City Square Deputy Ali Al-Kabbari, Provincial Education Sector Official Omar Bahar, along with education leaders and school principals, carried the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and banners denouncing the crimes of aggression. The banners reaffirmed the absolute rejection of the blockade and the deliberate starvation policy imposed on the people of Gaza.
Students and educational staff chanted angry slogans condemning the aggression and blockade, holding global arrogance powers fully responsible for the crimes committed against Palestinians in Gaza. They stressed that these crimes expose the true criminal face of the occupation, its Western allies, and its tools in the region.
Participants condemned the continuation of the starvation policy against Gaza’s residents, considering it a full-fledged war crime carried out under political cover from the U.S. administration and with active participation from Western powers supporting the enemy entity. They stressed that the blockade is being used as a weapon to subjugate the Palestinian people and break their will and resilience.
They welcomed the activation of the fourth phase of Yemen’s naval operations in support of Gaza, describing it as a strategic step in the path of deterrence and support for the Palestinian people, and as a practical message confirming Yemen’s active presence in the confrontation equation against the Zionist enemy and its protectors.
The march renewed its pledge to the Leader of the Revolution to continue on the path of steadfastness and readiness for jihad in support of Gaza and in confronting enemies, reinforcing Yemen’s position in the regional deterrence equation. They stressed that the stance toward Palestine is a firm principled commitment, reflected in actions on the ground and in practical support for the resistance until the blockade is lifted and victory is achieved.
A statement issued by the march said that the policy of blockade and starvation is a key tool in the scheme to liquidate the Palestinian cause by exhausting the Palestinian people, targeting their means of daily survival, and forcing them to submit to the projects of the usurping occupation.
It affirmed that the U.S. administration is a direct partner in these crimes, as the main financier and military-political supporter of the occupation, and that so-called international aid programs have become a tool for imposing dictates and controlling resources in line with the occupation’s policies.
The statement condemned the suspicious silence of the international community and the Arab and Islamic complacency toward what is happening in Gaza, considering it proof of political subservience and complete submission to the will of colonial powers amid the ongoing massacres and blockade against the people of the Strip.
It called on free peoples and resistance movements across the world to intensify on-the-ground actions and escalate popular activities in support of Palestine, in line with the scale of sacrifices made by the Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist war machine.
The statement demanded the opening of crossings for the entry of food, medicine, and basic necessities to the people of Gaza, and the complete lifting of the blockade, as a fundamental condition to stop the humanitarian catastrophe they face, which has led to daily suffering in all aspects of life under a deliberate policy aimed at depriving them of the essentials of survival.
It further affirmed that the Yemeni people will remain steadfast in their principled and moral stance alongside Palestine and will continue their activities and support until the blockade on Gaza is lifted, the Zionist aggression is fully stopped, and the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and independence is secured.
